It’s like baking in a dream.

I’ve been hanging on to an interesting beet cake recipe for a while now. Must be time to give it a try.

Wow! That was stunning video and I was grooving on the whole thing until it got the point of the poor cook had to push an oven rack into a 375ยบ oven-with no mitts! Ouch…

A beet cake is delicious and it doesn’t taste like beet – it just gives the sweetness to the cake. Beautiful video…

wow I love this!! I’ve been wanting to make beet cake for awhile too. It’s almost like red velvet except without the nasty food coloring.

I fell in love with this video as well! It’s hauntingly beautiful. And…I couldn’t help it, I made the cake! I can report that it is delicious, very moist (it better be, with two sticks of butter). Not really “beety” but there is something you can’t quite put your finger on.

Good to know. I am going to try making it this week substituting half the butter with apple sauce. I’ll let everyone know how it comes out!

Wow. I love the video. I can’t get enough of that vintage style of cinematography/photography. Such a dark, beautiful cake too.
