
Honest Fare is all about the the simple art of food preparation.
For me, that’s turning a fresh set of ingredients into something beautiful enough to share. Cause I like to feed people…and myself.
What you see here are the culinary experiments that come out of my nothing-special kitchen in Orlando, Florida. This is what we’re eating around the house. So sometimes it’s full-on meals. Sometimes it’s small plates or snacks. And sometimes it’s just a remarkable fluke.
Nothing too fancy. Just food that looks as good as it tastes and doesn’t require too much thinking.
Cause I don’t like to think? Kind of.
But mostly because I’m incapable of following exact measurements and instructions, or setting timers of any kind whilst cooking. I tend to taste test and improvise a lot along the way.
I mean, you can totally trust my Recipe Cards…they’re just not formulas or anything.
So feel free to add more or less of a particular ingredient or even make substitutions. The point is for you to be moved to make something great. Of course it doesn’t have to be exactly what you see here.
